<click above for more info> What is this?iamthelaw.net and 'IATL, the webseries' follow the misadventures of a secret Government Agency, SWAT. While it has closed down in almost every major city, the Detroit branch has mysteriously remained open. Even worse, the members lack any formal training and now seem to be hunted by a shadowy enemy, codenamed 'The IATL Terrorists". What is SWAT?Not much is actually known about SWAT, other than it was supposedly created by the US Government as a federal police force. All the members have been sworn in as government employees, although their power is still undefined. Adding to the mystery, each member of the Detroit chapter refers to SWAT as a different entity; Hagaki calls it "The Agency", OPC refers to it as "The Bureau", Tower calls it "The Company", and Karl refers to it as "The Organization". What is DoubleSwitch? While still working as government agents, OPC and Hagaki have been moonlighting as the rap-duo, DoubleSwitch. Although little music has actually surfaced, they make sure everyone knows they are rappers, and claim to be the very best in urban hip-hop. How was SWAT formed? Each member has a unique back-story of how they joined SWAT. Some of the members have only known each other in passing or not at all before being recruited. It has been rumored Hagaki is related to Karl. What happened to SWAT?SWAT was launched in several major cities across the United States, with chapters in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, New York, and Detroit. It was soon disbanded in every city, with the Detroit chapter still being active, or possibly even forgotten about. Who are the IATL Terrorists? Each member has their own opinion of the IATL Terrorists. OPC and Hagaki share the idea that the IATL terrorists are some kind of shadowy group out to overthrow SWAT. Karl believes it is SWAT itself, trying to close down the Detroit Chapter. Tower is apprehensive that they even exist and believe OPC and Hagaki are indirectly the IATL terrorists due to their bumbling nature. Who is Mark Linn-Baker?
For those of you that don't know, Mark Linn-Baker played the character Larry Appleton in the 90s television sitcom, Perfect Strangers. He is currently on the loose, after escaping police custody after being questioned for a murder that took place in the Detroit nightclub, the technodrome. He may or may not be an IATL terrorist.
